ADULT EDUCATION IN GHANA, THE ROLE OF KUMASI ADULT EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE(KAEI)

Adult education is a practice in which adults engage in systematic and sustained self–educating activities in order to gain new forms of knowledge, skills, attitudes, or values.

It can mean any form of learning adults engage in beyond traditional schooling, encompassing basic literacy to personal fulfillment as a lifelong learner.
In particular, adult education reflects a specific philosophy about learning and teaching based on the assumption that adults can and want to learn, that they are able and willing to take responsibility for that learning, and that the learning itself should respond to their needs.

Kumasi Adult Educational Centre is a non-governmental agency established by Mr.Gershon Fiifi Bondzie(BSc) , Mr. Agyekum Frank(BSc) and Mr.Richmond Asare(BSc) in the quest to develop the language skills and computer literacy of adults in order to enable them fit into the adult world.

Adults who would be travelling oversees into English speaking countries are best advised to enroll in the KAEI classes to develop their English language skills as well as  technology in computer literacy. Adults who have difficulties in reading English and Twi Bible and other related materials should also enrol in the classes to develop their potential.
However the class is organized for all forms of adults above 18.

Duration of classes : 6months

Days for classes: Friday, Saturday,Sunday@4pm

Centre: Kumasi

Registration is for 30gh cedis

Tuition : 300gh cedis for 6months duration
             

Period of commencement: 20th June- 20th November, 2017

Package: Free education material( English, Twi and computer materials)
